I am in process of evaluating JIRA ServiceDesk (JSD) using cloud solution.
Some questions I have:
how to create (extern) customer, which can access JSD and create an issue, but must not pay the license? -> using Customer Portal
such (extern) customer should only view his own tickets, is it possible? -> Sure
This is exactly how Jira Service Desk works. When you add people to your Customer Portal only, by inviting them through the Add Customer function on the project Customers screen, they will only have access to the portal and they will only see their own tickets, unless they are part of Organization. They will also not be included in your Jira Service Desk license, which is based on the number of agents.
