add a cancel request option

how can I add a cancel request option so that the request created is removed from the list?

Hello Kartik,

Could you please elaborate, which list are you talking about, is it backlog and when you say "request created" does it mean story in the backlog or does this question pertain to JIRA Service Desk.

Thanks for the reply. My question is related to Jira service desk. I am creating a vacation manager project (With approvals). i have configured the approvals now i want to add a option to cancel the request by the requestor.
