Why wont my advanced queries save when editing my queues on service desk?

Jeremy Schrecengost May 29, 2014

I cannot edit or create a queue with an advanced search, if I use basic search the query saves. I have included the steps I am using below.

1. Go to the service desk page for my project

2. Select New Queue

3. Name the queue

4. Select Advanced (for the "issues to show field")

5. Enter my query ( resolution = Unresolved AND ("Time waiting for support" = breached() OR "Time to resolution" = breached()) ORDER BY "Time waiting for support" )

6. Press Create

This will create the new queue but the query (issues to show) will be blank and it will show all of my issues in the project. The query is valid (i copied it from one of the default queues). I also cannot edit a previously created query if it is advanced. Basic queries work and save correctly.

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem at the JIRA installation of my company. It is not possible to create advanced queues. It is not even possible to change extisting advanced queues as well.

When I create a new queue I have the same behaviour like Jeremy.

When I change an existing advanced queue and press save, there is no error, but when I edit the queue again, the changes were not saved.

On Queues also the JQL-autocomplete function does not work.

Can somebody tell, what the problem could be and how I fix it?
