Hello,
I am running a research study to understand the link between my feature releases on the product vs the tickets raised.
The idea is to build a month by month wordcloud from the tickets or titles of the tickets that can help me understand the main topics/issues faced by the users.
Has anyone ever attempted it or is there a script I can run to fetch this data. I have 4000+ tickets to read the data from.
Wordcloud example below :
In addition to fetching such a cloud i want to ensure that the size of the word depicts the frequency of the word used.
Regards,
Roy
there is an example for confluence cloud where they create a word cloud based on what's displayed in a page. maybe you could modify that example into what you want to achieve yourself.

Once per month? Well i would do it in the simplest way possible, simply extract the fields through the issue view by exporting them to csv or whatever. Take the data and then go to https://www.wordclouds.com/ and paste the text in the text input field, (you might want to make sure that you anonymize things if there is personal data in your issues). Format to the shape, text fonts etc you want.
The Data for the rocket came from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlassian and took me all of 3 minutes to create :-)
s to create :-)

This free plugin for Jira Cloud has the ability to generate a word cloud in a Dashboard for the last 50 issues in a project :-)
