Unable to start

I get :

Unexpected exception during JIRA startup. This JIRA instance will not be able to recover. Please check the logs for details

With the infrmation on the page of:

I don't see anything in the catalina.out log  that would indicate an issue.

Hi Robert,

I'm sorry to hear that your JIRA instance won't start.  Hopefully you've been able to get it started at this point, however, if you are not able to get it started I would take a look at the article titled JIRA Fails to Start due to Multiple entries with same key for assistance:

Diagnosis

  • According to the error message above, there are 2 entries with the same key sd.custom.notification.batch.send

You'll need to look in the clusterdjob table to find the id for the job and delete one.
