Unable to start JIRA after server restart

Hi support team, I've been having this issue.

Every time I restart my server, Jira services desk 3.5.0 (self host) does not start. Keep coming up with Plugin Error. Please see log.

I found an article about that and it said to stop Jira service and deleted 2 folder (.bundled-plugins and .osgi-plugins) and then start Jira. Usually it will work after a few attempts. But today it took me many attempts to get it up and running. Any suggestion?

Hi Nic, thanks for your reply. I found that I being having database collation issue on my server. Could this be the cause? and can you direct me to site on how to fixt database collation issue please?

Tam

It could be, but I would confirm that by reading the log first.

If it is, then your database tools will be able to convert to the right collation.

Thanks, Nic, I had decided to backup and rebult the server from scratch.

Problem solve.

Cheers,

Tam
