we are running Jira SD and receive most of our support inquiries via mail.
how can we preserve the original mail as .msg file attachment in the newly generated ticket along with the other file attachment from the mail?
we really would like to preserve the original mail within the ticket.

Dear @Holger Klehn ,
if I had to do what you require, I would: write an external program. that polls the inbox for messages that just got marked as read (that's was JSD does when processing) takes the subject form the mail, searches for issues with parts of this subject via REST API, on issues created in the last 10 minutes and then attaches the whole mail to the found issue again via REST API.
