Request Type - Deletion of request types hanging and not working

When configuring my request types in Jira Service Desk, I'm able to add new request types, but I'm not able to delete request types, or remove them from a group.  The spinning image just hangs and nothing happens.

Thanks for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When we add a request type we also need to add a valid issue type. If the issue type is not associated with the project, it will fail to delete the request type.

So please, go to Project settings > Issue types > Actions > Edit issue types and add the issue type linked to the request type that you can’t delete. You just need to drag and drop from the left to the right column and save.

If it doesn’t work, please click on “Edit fields” for the request type you need to delete just to check if it shows any error message.

Also, you can open the developer tools while deleting the request type to check if it shows any other error that can help us isolate the problem.
