Hi Team,
When we export all the tickets the search query shows 12,376 issues. Attached Screenshot.
However the export only gives us 1000 rows.
We are trying to migrate our tickets from current portal to Jira service desk and in this activity we figured out that some of the tickets got migrated twice. This we need to identify using our custom field (TS_ID) which can be done once we have the export dump.
Kindly let us know how we can get the dump or any other method to get duplicate field values for a custom field.
yep you must export 1K at a time. :-(
you can then combine into single CSV/excel
That will be a very tedious job. Is there a way you can provide us the dump?

No, we have less access to your cloud system than you do.
You could download a backup of your system though - this would give you everything in an xml file.

Hi @[deleted] , to be clear I do not work for Atlassian. I'm a user/customer like yourself. Given you have 12,376 issues this will require 13 exports. Yes tedious but not horrendous, maybe 30m of work at most. Here is more info on how this is done along w/ background - export-over-1000-results-to-excel-from-jira-cloud . Note that the KB is dated as it refers to Excel but CSV is the way to go here anyway.

You can also treat this as more of a programming challenge.
Using a add on like Power Scripts for jira you can write a script that can iterate through your issues and report on duplicates. It would not be a difficult script to write.
You could also just use the API to query jira for the data, and write the script in whatever language you want.

Hi Andrew,
Currently, approached the problem with custom script. But would have been easier if someone from Atlassian could help us out here.
