Jira doesn't start

Jira doesn' start this morning. The stack trace below :

Please check whether you are switching as a sudo user and trying to startup the application.

In your log message I see the following: "log4j:ERROR setFile(null,true) call failed.
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /var/atlassian/application-data/jira/log/atlassian-jira.log (Permission non accordée)"

 

Check your folder permissions. It seems the user used to start Jira has no permissions in some folders.

I've changed folder's permissions on /var/atlassian/application-data/jira

and now it starts... very strange...
