Jira Service Desk Permissions.

Andres Loyola June 4, 2014

I had created a new group "Clientes", into service desk modify in "People", who are the users to obtenin access to Customer portal, "Service Desk Customers" Add "Clientes", "Jira-users", "users".

But, only Jira-users can log in. Not the users from the group "Clientes", I don't want to burn a Jira user licence into a Customer.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Pedro, but I don't really give them access to the system, just to add/edit/view tickets for our systems.

And I don't really like to burn a Jira Licence. To be honest, this is a blocking issue. I'll probably not continue with the service if I have to paid for users that will not use Jira.

For me, you cannot charge for customers, or at least a flat fee.

Best regards,

Hello Andres

Users have to be included in jira-users group in order for them to be able to login, even though the intention is to only login to the customer portal and not JIRA.

We already have a discussion about service desk license for "customer" users that you can follow on the link below:

Cheers,

Pedro Souza.
