JSD Organisations field in email notifications

Hello,

I have been searching like a maniac for posts related to adding the "Organizations" field in an email notification but have been unsuccessful so far.

Is this possible without an add-on and without tampering with velocity templates?

I thought I'd share the progress so far;

I've tried to accomplish this with two different add-ons.

* Notification Assistant For Jira (Our own add-on)

* JETI

Both of them return the same, less visibly pleasant, value:

[CustomerOrganizationImpl{id=2, name=OrganisationName}]

Instead of just printing the OrganisationName.

Now, I've resorted to editing the velocity templates which, to my surprise, returned the same value and not the actual name of the organisation.

It feels like I'm all out of options at this point but I cannot shake the fact that JIRA sends out a nice looking email with the Organisations field displaying correctly when updating the Organisations field itself.

Any thoughts?
