Hi fellow Atlassian users,
We're using JSD Cloud and although I can display in the dashboard the number of issues opened at a given time (what I call "backlog"), I haven't found a way to display backlog history (number of opened issues for a period of time, let's say every week).
Does anyone have a clue on how I could do this, either using a widget on filters or reports?

I think a dashboard with Recently created gadget would work for you:
In green the resolved issues, in red the unresolved ones.

I believe that what was requested would be to have a view of the static backlog in a given period, for example: 258 open tickets on 10/01, on 10/07 I have only 249 tickets.
I'm having the same difficulty and I couldn't find a way to get this information. Basically it would "freeze" the result of the backlog (open tickets) on a certain date.
