Is there any way to perform the JQL search on the Customer Request Category in Service Desk?
Note: Don't get it confused by Customer Request Type in Service Desk. Check Image.
No, there is not. I've never heard of any add ons that do that either :(

where do you want to use it? In the Issue Navigator as a Jira user, in the Queue for agents or as a customer (on the Customer Portal: in the searcher before creating a ticket or in the searcher after creating a ticket).
