JIRA Service Desk Starter database

Installing the starter JIRA Service Desk on CentOS. Works on the built in database. 

When I try to move the database to MSSQL 2012 R2 it errors out after the test connection completes successfully. I can then switch it back to the internal DB with the config.sh and it runs just fine. I have even disabled the firewall in CentOS just in case and doesn't change it. 

Any ideas on what to check?

I was able to get it connected and restore the backup I made to the new database.
