JIRA Base URL Not Working After Upgrading from 7.0 to 7.5.2 Edited



I recently upgraded our JIRA Core application from 7.0 to 7.5.2. On the localhost:8080 page, I received a notification saying the base URL is no longer working and I can no longer access JIRA or ServiceDesk outside of our JIRA server anymore.

Our customers access our ServiceDesk from servicedesk.mysite.com and internal staff access JIRA from jira.mysite.com.


Please assist.

Hi Melissa,

Can you please show me the exact error message you receive when you go to the page? You can attach it as a screenshot.

Also, is your base URL currently set to? Has this changed?
