Is there a way to set the from address for customer notifications?

The setting found with the systems settings only affects agent notifications.

Hi Kim,

Take a look at How to Change the Sender's Name of the Service Desk Notifications and let me know if that's what you're trying to do.

Reading it implies it should be, but in practice this isn't the name that appears on the notifications.  I see the name of the person who performed the action that triggers the notification (e.g., our "automation" account or the name of an agent).  For Agent notifications there is a parameter that even allows some use of variables.

I appreciate a reply but this doesn't seem to do the trick.
