Is it possible to restrict the issue types displayed in the portal based on user group or role?

I know JSD can  Organize request types into groups but I have a project that will span heaps of requests types, some of those request however are users belonging to a specific group.

I know that is no native functionality in vanilla JIRA but I am wondering if JIRA SD has a way to fullfil this common requirement or if at least is in the roadmap to have it at some point.

Hi Javier,

you can restrict request types to selected group using plugin Extension for JIRA Service Desk. Here you can find documentation: Is it what you are looking for?

In this plugin there are also many features that can make your customer portal more user friendly.

Hi, currently atlassian doesn't give technical possibility to do this in plugin on cloud JIRA.
