Is is possible to display an alias in a URL field.

Hi,

We are using Jira Service Desk Cloud.

We have a custom URL field for our issues. Typically, we enter a very long URL into the field, and after we enter the URL, that very long address is displayed in the field. Is there a way to format the URL we enter so that after we finish making the entry, the field displays a short alias rather than the full URL?

Using 'http://tinyurl.com/api-create.php?url=http://URLHERE' should work, it would be a matter of creating the Scripted field that returns the shortened URL

Probably would be possible to do with ScriptRunner via a Scripted field and using an external URL shortener
