Hi. Official Docker image for JIRA Service Desk? Instructions for instalation on Google Container Engine using Kubernetes? Thanks.
Hi Gustavo,
We're using docker to deploy the atlassian tools (including connectivity with the database, auto configuring the base url ...)
Check out the blog item at
An Atlassian JIRA upgrade journey using docker and the atlassian docker builder

At the present time, there is not an official docker image for Jira Core, Jira Service Desk, or Jira Software. This might change someday and perhaps Atlassian might start publishing an official docker image of our products, but as of today it does not exist.
Now there are other users that have started creating their own docker images of Jira installations, but I don't know that I would personally recommend them at this time. There are just too many variables that could have been setup in regards to JRE/JDK platform, database platform, etc. These are decisions that should be made at the time you install Jira. By using a docker, it's possible someone else already made these decisions for you. And if that docker image did not follow the Supported platforms - Atlassian Documentation or the correct steps in Connecting JIRA to a database then it's possible you have just inherited a Jira instance that is prone to certain problems caused by misconfiguration or could possibly be unsupported in it's current state.
