If I give someone the service desk agent project role will they have access to jira service desk, meaning product access and they use up a license or will they have access only to the customer portal? If they have access to only the customer portal can they do more than just create issues/requests? Thank you.
@Fahad Akhtar in short, no. Giving a user a Service Desk agent permission doesn't grant them access to service desk related functionality. To get service desk features one has to have Jira Service Desk access(license) ticked in the user administration tool.
