How to group request types in next-gen service desks?

Is it possible to group request types in next-gen service desks? Can anyone please help.

Hi Nirmal,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

It's possible to group request types, but it's different from classic projects where we do this directly from the Request types' page on Project settings.

For next-gen projects, you need to do this directly from the project.

Please, go to the Customer Portal, select the desired project and then click on Customize > Request type groups.

Following up to this, is it possible to create a group, and only make it visible to a select few users?

Hi Andrew,

Welcome to Community!

This option is not available for next-gen or classic projects. Currently, when we add a customer to the project, they will be able to see all groups and request types.

We have a feature request suggesting the ability to restrict request types:
