How to disable account created emails in JIRA Service desk?

Hello

We are running the server version of JIRA Service Desk

Auto-account creation is currently enabled so that people can email the service desk and it creates an account for them and an issue ticket. 

Is it possible please to disable the account created email that then pings back to the customer inviting them lo set their password etc?

I will be very grateful for any help - feel like I must be missing something obvious.

I am facing the same issue. Would love to use service desk for my customers, but they will never login to service desk, they just want to send emails.

The external customer will have your ticket in JIRA Service Desk but he won't know that he has an account, right?!

Hello John,

Probably your public sign up is active, I'd advise you take a look here for a better understanding about how Service Desk deals with that.
