it should be possible to setup the permissions that a customer only can access the portal and not the normal JIRA.
Can you tell me how the permissions need to be setup?
the user needs to be assigned to the role of Service Desk Customer. If the 'customer' has a Jira account where JSD is hosted they can only view the JSD project if you give them (or group they are in) Browse permissions.
Hi Malte,
Did you grant that user a Jira Software/Core license? If you did they will be able to get Jira. Remove that license and they will only be able to get to Portal.

So when the user removes the last part of the URL he arrives here in the JIRA Dashboard
