We currently have a JIRA 25 user license, but I'll be deleting all of them leaving only 7. Do we have to contact sales contact?
To reduce cost, we are migrating to JIRA Service Desk where we can have unlimited customers use our support portal, as opposed to giving each a JIRA license.
So, if we have 7 JIRA users...does that mean we must have 7 Service Desk agents? If so, would our cost be $175/month, or ($10 for the first three & $25 for the remaining 4?....so $110/month?
Yes, to down-size a licence, it's best to contact "sales at atlassian dot com", quoting your SEN if you can (should be on the system info page). You could just wait for the old one to expire and buy a smaller one, but I'm sure Sales will do you a better deal.
You don't need 7 service desk agents though. I suspect you'll want 10 JIRA users + 3 Agents.
