I don't think this is possible. Queues are basically just saved filters that you access from the Service Desk project's queue view, so they either exist or don't.
If you want to save the query but delete it from the project's queue view, I'd recommend recreating the queue as a query in the Issue Navigator, then saving that query as a filter.
