Forcing a comment in the service desk portal on an approval workflow

I have an approval workflow where managers and directors will be asked to make approvals via the portal.  I need a way to force the managers and directors to include a comment as part of their approval/decline while in the portal so that the reporters can get the notification of the change in their request.

I have not seen any documentation on this and I am hoping someone out there has figured this out already.

Hi Jeanne,

THat is not currently possible.  However you could via automation or a post workflow function generate a comment so the customer is aware the issue has been approved.
