The question applies for the people that already had JIRA and Service Desk before the new licensing pricing model. Do they should be worried that, at some point, they will be forced to move to the new JIRA and Service Desk versions and won't be able to renew the license?

When I asked Atlassian about this, the written response that I received was as follows, per @Hailey Hickman
"We do not have a specific end date for the JIRA Service Desk version 1.0 licensing. However, our long term plan is to move entirely to the version 2.0 Agent based model. Honestly, it could be next year or in two years. This decision hasn't been finalized yet by our Atlassian leadership team."
This was on Oct 30, 2014. Maybe this has changed? Hopefully it will not go away.
