Does Jira Service Desk support in line image attachments when providing reply via emails?

We reply to customers via emails and make use images to help describe solutions and would need to use inline attachments.  I had a look around but could not find a clear answer to if this is supported.  Can you confirm if it is or not?

If you are asking if you make a reply in Jira or Service Desk and place an inline comment in it. Yes, it will appear correctly in the email to the end user.
