I copied the LDAP configuration from another Jira installation that work's, but getting error: org.springframework.ldap.NameNotFoundException: [LDAP: error code 32 - 0000208D: NameErr: DSID-031001E5, problem 2001 (NO_OBJECT), data 0, best match of: '' ]
It can connect to LDAP but when testing with a user it show this error
Hi Philippe,
The error you're running into and that specific data code tells us the defined DN does not exist. I would go back and verify the settings.
Double check the Fully Qualified Domain Name on the LDAP side, including the prefixes (cn, ou, etc.), and ensure that it matches your directory configuration within JIRA.
I would open the directory settings and make sure all the settings match between the two instances and if they do use the Troubleshooting LDAP User Management knowledge base for further troubleshooting steps.
Cheers,
Branden
