Recently our email password expired, and tickets were not getting created via emails. However, upon changing the password and updating the information in JIRA, it is still not working.
I am unsure where to go from here.
I ran into this same issue. If memory serves I removed & re-added the email address entirely. I'm not 100% sure what finally resolved my issue as that was many months ago and just recalled trying several things. When we finally figured out the RC we set pwd to never expire.
Thank you for the response! Once I started digging a little further, I realized I was never looking under the Project Settings. I was only checking my System settings. Once I re-added the email to the Project (with correct password that is now set to never expire) everything is back to working.
