I am using Jira Servicedesk. I have Request Types with Approvers and other with "version picker (multiple version) fields. However when the users go to the ServiceDesk Portal and choose the respective Request Type and choose the field that should browse users, they don't work. It works for me but i am a Jira-Administrator. I checked the global permissions and the group Jira-software-users is in the "Browse Users" Permission, everyone is a member of Jira-software-users . I only have 100 users so very small list. It seems to be permissions but I cannot figure out why this is not working. It seems as it should work as per design. Any insight would be appreciate it.
