Attachments to tickets

Afternoon All

 

Is there a way on Jira Service Desk Cloud to determine if an attachment is shared or internal? If not, there should be an icon or something to indicate from the list of attachment what is internal and what's external.

When you click the option to add an attachment to the issue only, it does not create that link in a comment to expose the attachment to the user.

Hey Mark,

It was my understanding that all attachments to an issue are considered 'internal' and the only way for a user to see them externally is if it is linked in a comment. 

If you click through any ticket with attachments from 'View Customer Request' in your service desk, you will see that the user does not have a view attachments section.
