Aprovers not notified when they are pending an anproval

Hi

When a new change or service request with approvals is created in our Jira projects, no notification alert is sent out the the user who is the aprover. Other notications like, "issue created" works fine, and i have checked it is not disabled. It has not worked before, so suspecting I'm missing something configuration wise.

I don't know what else to do, i have also restarted my server and reindexed everything.

Still no notification is sent to the approver.

Click edit on the 'Approval required' and check the To field. You have to select a field you using as Approvers field.

Hi,

You should go to the Project settings -> Customer notifications and enable 'Approval required' rule. When enabled the notifications will be sent to those users who are in a field you selected in 'Get approvers from' setting of your workflow.
