Currently, the default keybinding for Control-Enter to submit a comment defaults to "Internal Comment."

Due to a bug in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-3410, this is resulting in many notifications not being delivered.

I think we're just going to stick with Public comments, and have hidden the "Internal Comment" button. The only nuisance left is the key binding (Control + Enter) still submits as "Internal Comment."  Is there a way to make it default to "Share with customer?"

Hi David,

Nowadays, when using Jira Service Desk, since there are two options to add a comment, Ctrl + Enter will always result in an internal comment.

We have a feature request to allow us to configure this shortcut to send comments to customers:

Allow users to configure keyboard shortcut {{CTRL+Enter}}

Please, make sure to watch and vote to receive updates about the feature.

I'm sorry that we can't be more helpful on it.

If you have any other question, please let us know.

Regards,

Angélica
