I created a portal with the following structure:

- Main page
    - Menu
         Sub Menu 1
            item 1
            item 2
            item 3
         Sub menu 2
            item 1
            item 2
            item 3
         Sub menu 3
            item 1
            item 2
            item 3

I would like to access with the user "x" has access only to Sub menu Sub menu 1 and 2.

By accessing the user with "y" has access only to Sub menu 3.

By accessing the user with "z" has access only to Sub menu Sub menu 2 and 3.

Are those sub menus different projects, or only groups under the same project?
