I am in need of a feature on JIRA Service Desk that will allow Approvers (Customer) to indicate that they are out of office and designate their backup. When end users submit tickets where the selected Approver is out of office, the system re-assigns the Approver field (Custom Field) to the designated backup.
One of our Customers has over 70 Approvers (Department Managers) thus we require employees of the customer to pick (Custom Field: User Picker) their manager (Approver) from the list when creating tickets (instead of making all 70 Dept Managers as Approvers on the ticket). As an admin, manually adding and removing Approvers for out of office reasons is cumbersome.
