JIRA migraton issue

Hi,

Am trying to migrate jira cloud to on-prem. I want to move the issues from cloud next gen to cloud classic project first.While moving fields are getting moved but the values are missing for custom fileds.

Appreciate any help!!!

Hello,

Before migration of next-gen projects to classic projects export all issues to a csv file (go to Issue navigator, enter project = yournextgenproject and export to csv all fields).

Then after converting to a classic project, you can create new fields in Jira (Issue -> Custom Fields) and set to these new field values from the old fields in your exported csv file.

You can set the new fields either manually or write a scripts.

But am able to see only the default values are getting copied but all the custom fields values are missing..

You need to export the values of all fields to a csv file before migrating next-gen projects.
