Today I was collecting various insights and adding them to Ideas in our Product Discovery project.
There was one particular idea where I was adding quite a number of insights, and realised that I couldn't search, filter or sort these insights to add details to the Idea description.
I believe it would be helpful to filter, sort and search for insights at a
- System/Org level
- Project level
- Idea/Ticket/Issue level
Apologies if there's a workaround or process in place to do this, in which case it'd be great to have a video tutorial or a more obvious method to do this activity :)
Thanks!
Thank you for the feedback @nwatson , you are right the support for insights today is within an idea only, and without search or filter. It's definitely something we plan to improve at some point though. How many insights do you have on this idea, and what type of insights are they?
Awesome! I've seen mention of a roadmap in other conversations/questions, is there a link available to the Beta group, or is this just referencing your team's internal roadmap?
My quantity of linked insights is by no means large at this stage, but I can see it growing as I convince the team to start adopting Product Discovery into our workflow! I was looking at an Idea with 6 insights, but looking for a very specific insight. So what I thought to be a quick scan or search turned into reading 6 posts.
My workaround currently is to just Commmand+F if I know what I'm looking for 😄
For context, I'm the Product Design Lead and have had a few stints as a BA, PM and Scrum Master. So I am helping my product team mature in their PMing while I'm still designing and researching, hence why I foresee insights being a big deal for our team (if I get my way!). No more of this gut-feeling, I know better than our customers business 🙈
