Is there a solution available within product discovery to collaboratively score a rating field such as 'impact' or 'effort'?
So basically, a way where creators and contributors a like can score what they believe to be the impact or effort and then the true impact and effort would be the average of all those who voted. (Similar to a poker planning exercise.)
I've used Foxly marketplace app previously to achieve a similar effect.
Failing that, how are you ensuring that impact and effort are accurate? are you implementing a similar offline process prior to updating JPD?
@Keiran Munn this is something we're tracking in an idea called "Multi-player fields". The only one we built today that does things like this is the "Votes" field: you give people a number of votes (e.g. 10), then ask them to allocate this budget across a set of ideas. It's based on the "10 dollar game" we use to discuss the relative importance of things ("if you had only $10, how would you spend it? you can put all your dollars in one idea, or spread amongst multiple ideas").
That wouldn't work for effort though. For that we're considering a rating field that is multi-player (everyone sets its value then can see its result).
Thanks for the reply Tanguy, glad to see it's something on the roadmap. Please let me know if you need help beta testing?
Cheers.

This wouldn't work (particularly well, anyway) if you had too many people, but if you had a small number of groups doing this activity you could:
1. Create the number of custom fields (rating type) for the number of groups or people rating
2. Create a custom formula field to find the average

Great question, Keiran. I don't think that's possible. But you may want to consider airfocus Priority Poker for that. Happy to show you around.
