Chrome extension: infinite loading when searching ideas

Hey JPD team,

I recently installed the extension; it was working great until:

Extension seems to be throwing a boatload of CORS errors when searching a project for existing ideas.

I have:

• cleared cache
• updated Brave
• turned off adblock + Brave shield
• opened the "Product Management" project recently

Same issue as: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Product-Discovery-questions/Possible-bug-Chrome-Extension-doesn-t-work/qaq-p/2024029

But possibly a different cause.

Update: I managed to get the extension working in a Brave incognito window.

So I went back and cleared my cache—again—and re-authenticated with Atlassian.

Idea searching is now working again!

Hi @Owen Scott , I didn't even know it was possible to install the extension on Brave? 

We don't support Brave, only Chromium based browsers (Chrome, Edge)

Hey @Tanguy Crusson—Brave is Chromium-based 😊

I should have tested on Chrome itself, though. I've just done that, and it works!

Perhaps the team can file this as a bug with Brave specifically? The JPD extension was working as of 1-2 weeks ago.

Edit: see the accepted answer. Had to clear cache again apparently 🤦
