Is it possible to add a value to the Severity field?

I would like to add an extra severity level below Minor. Is that possible? How about an extra value in Status?

Hi Kamen,

It looks like 'Severity' is a custom field that is created by Jira but I can't see anyway to edit it as it just says 'You can't edit this field'. Definitely think this field should be customisable as different companies classify incidents differently. 

I'm going to submit feedback to the team on this.
