OpsGenie-to-Jira Ops Severity

Jay October 22, 2018

Is there a way for the OpsGenie Priority to map to Jira Ops Severity as part of the integration?  Everything currently is coming in as "3 - Minor" and we'd like to change that for certain incidents.

Thanks in advance, Jay

I agree - this would be very useful!

We specifically purchased Jira service desk server and opsgenie for the integration (being both Atlassian products) but it's very limited.

Things that don't sync:

Priorities

Priorities are how we control alerts in opsgenie for who to notify and in Jira for SLA's and general scheduling.

This should be basic, is there any work around?

Any update on this ? The severity is of great importance for us. Sadly opsgenie-jira integration is extremely limited..

Hi All.. I got the same problem. But I find the way to do this.

Click Advance and follow the images below.

However, ensure to drop down the setting fields and add the Jira Password. If not it will give you an error message.

That does not work, I am still getting all JSD tickets as P4. :(

What you have shown with the screenshots is from JIRA ticket to Opsgenie alert, the issue here we are all facing is  for Opsgenie to JIRA , i.e. once an alert is created from another source such as SNS into Opsgenie , how can the priority assigned to this alert in Opsgenie reflect in JIRA ?
