one of our issue collectors is creating all issues with a priority of Blocker. None of our other issue collectors is doing this. any ideas on how to stop this from happening?

the priority is coming through as Blocker instead of the usual Normal. kinda wink.

see, when we look at the issue in our backlog it appears to not have any priority. however, when we edit the issue, it shows that the priority is Blocker.

Our JIRA version is v6.4.11 , if that helps? thanks!

I checked with the guy who setup this particular issue collector and issue type, and he said that no custom defaults were set for this issue type.

sorry for the confusion ... I meant Priority not Status in the original question.

The only thing you can configure on the JIRA Issue Collector in regards with the issue per se is what Issue Type and what fields

Can you make sure if this issue type defaults to the issue type Blocker? OR can you double check if it's really a status of "Blocker"? have you tried opening the issue itself? What JIRA version do you have?
