Our 500 user server license expires on August 5th, however the pop-up I get indicates that the key will expire at the end of today which happens to be August 3rd. Is this in error, or will we lose access today? We have not received our new key yet and have concerns.

Are you using Cloud or server version? If on server, you will not lose access just the ability to upgrade and request support if there is an issue.
I assume the same for cloud or at least a grace period. (I haven't used cloud)
If you have additional concerns call the sales dept and they are really great about explaining things.
