In the user management section, the last login details are not being captured when logged in from SSO credentials.Whereas in the normal login it is working fine. Please confirm if we require to change the SAML plugin code.
Can you confirm which SAML plugin you are using? Or is this one provided by SAML IdP vendor? Or your own custom-build?
Hi ED Letifov,
The plugin name is SAML 2.0 Single sign in On Jira provided by Bitium Vendor

As Christian has suggested below - reach to Bitium support, it's a commercial plugin, supported by the vendor, so they should be the first point of call, not Community.
The alternative is indeed to migrate to a plugin that sets the timestamp correctly. Both us (EasySSO) and re:solution and others do it.

Hi @nidhi bala gupta ,
You can check the User Last Login details through the JIRA Database.
Please visit this link for additional information and query to retrieve the details.
Thanks,
Kiran.

The database method will show the same exact information as GUI shows. If the SSO plugin doesn't trigger the necessary events - the database won't have the timestamp updated.

Exactly it is not capturing the details when logged using SSO .Please help me to understand what can be the reason of this?

I am afraid you'll have to talk to Bitium Support then. It's a 3rd Party plugin and for this plugin to write the timestamp it actually needs to be implemented in that plugin. There is nothing you can do from the outside.
We are also a SAML Plugin vendor and we have implemented that functionality.
If Bitium doesn't have a solution for you and this topic is very important than you may have to consider another plugin from the marketplace.
Here is a list: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=saml
For our plugins, I can confirm that we correctly update the last login time.
We can also help you via a Support case or a Screenshare to get your config migrated.
Cheers,
Christian
Full disclosure: I work for resolution, a marketplace vendor
