how can i copy resolution date to a custom date field

tom webb November 9, 2015

issues are alreayd resolved i simply need to copy the resolved date into a custom date field.

i have tried 'copy from another value' and 'resolution' and to my new custom field however it seems to not be accurate at all, i have issues created today (10/11/15) and resolved today (10/11/15) and the custom field has the value 09/11/15 ? doesnt seem to be accurate at all, is there a script way to do this if so please help.. not sure how to write any scripts for JIRA sad

I know where resolution date is, im trying to bulk copy resolved value to a custom field...

Not sure in Eazybi how to get resolved date as a dimension so i figured a work around would be to create a custom field, bulk change that to match the resolved date then import that custom field to create reports on.

I would also like to know how to bulk copy values from a system field as this is handy knowledge to have in the future. were talking 5000+ issues here.

Resolved date is usually displayed in Issue View.  Example:

jira resolved date.PNG

You can also get it on the Issue Navigator when searching for issues.  Example:

jira resolved date 2.PNG

What are your plans for this custom field?
