db-config.xml shows oracle10g after Jira 7 upgrade, why not oracle12c

Why do I see oracle10g in db-config.xml after upgrading to JIRA v7.1.2, should we manually change this to oracle12c ?

<jira-database-config>
  <name>defaultDS</name>
  <delegator-name>default</delegator-name>
  <database-type>oracle10g</database-type>
  <jdbc-datasource>
    <url>jdbc:oracle:thin:@//xxx.xxy.com:1525/xxxyzz</url>

appearently it's a bug of sorts.

it causes nothing more than confusion.

so at least it works.

not sure if Atlassian is working on the problem since they try to side PostgreSQL.

I hope this confirmation of "working fine" helps.
