add users as watchers while they don't have browse permission

Hi Guys,

 

I have limited one project so users can only see the issues that they created, according to this:

Now I would like to enable the issue creator to add watchers.

The problem is, that since users don't have the browse project permission - they cannot be added as watchers as well.

 

Any ideas will be much appreciated.

hi

as far as i know it is not possible what you ask. However, you can try a different way to achieve this. I think you will find this comment useful:

you can create a user picker, give it browse project permission and use it as watchers.
