Why doesn't DVCS update automatically?

I have used DVCS to smart commit between JIRA and Bitbucket for almost a year. It has worked great up until the last few weeks. Now, when I commit to Bitbucket with a Smart Tag, the update doesn't happen. I have to go into the DVCS administrator and click the update icon. I am using both JIRA and Bitbucket in the cloud. Anyone know how I can get this process back to being automatic?

Thank you for the response, Elisa. Unfortunately, this did not solve my problem. I did the full sync (not a lot, 15 commits). About 15 minutes after it finished, I committed to bitbucket. The commit is in bitbucket, but still no automatic sync. What other ideas can I try?

Hi Tom, 

It might be a good idea to run a full sync. This should get things updating automatically again. 

To do so, you can visit the DVCS page > find the Bitbucket project link > Hold SHIFT and press the refresh button > run a full sync.
